Olton Golf Club is a club geared towards members. With its restricted membership, it means that members are free to enjoy their golf on an uncluttered course. Regular monthly medals, a number of annual competitions and a common interest in golf form the backbone of the Club. Membership categories have recently changed and though we still have number of 5 day Lady and Gentleman members, full company membership is now the only category available. We welcome handicap players but non-handicap players may apply and coaching can be arranged through our resident professional Charles Haynes.

The major amateur tournament of the year is an invitation event The Olton Cup and Bowl. The bowl is a best gross competition and the cup a best net. The tournament is open to golfers with a maximum of 12 handicap. Notable winners of the Cup being Matt Cryer from Coventry Finham, Steve Webster and Paul Broadhurst.  Both of the latter two have since moved into the professional ranks and are on the European Tour.

The membership structure as stated now provides 7-day categories only for adults, with intermediate Juniors 18-20 years and Juniors 8-17 years. Membership provides unrestricted golf for full company members with some restrictions for juniors and existing 5-day members. We have an excellent mixed lounge, bar/T.V. areas and a patio with views across the course.
